Cinnamon-Sugar Bat Pretzels are Halloween pretzels shaped like bats, baked golden, and coated with butter and cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tbsp sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup baking soda
4 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Optional: chocolate or cream cheese glaze
Instructions
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar, let foam.
2. Mix in flour and salt, knead dough, rise 1 hour.
3. Preheat oven to 425°F.
4. Shape dough into bat pretzels.
5. Dip in boiling water with baking soda.
6. Bake 12–15 minutes.
7. Brush with butter.
8. Coat in cinnamon-sugar.
