Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

1.25 lbs ground turkey

1 onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes

1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

1 cup chicken broth

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional toppings: cheese, sour cream, avocado, green onions


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown turkey and transfer to slow cooker.

2. Add all other ingredients to the crockpot. Stir well.

3. Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

4. Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning.

5. Serve with toppings of choice.
