Chicken Bat Wings (Dark Glaze) – Spooky Halloween Finger Food

These Chicken Bat Wings with Dark Glaze are the ultimate spooky Halloween appetizer—sticky, savory, and hauntingly delicious! Coated in a rich balsamic soy glaze, the wings take on a deep, dark hue that’s perfect for your Halloween table.

I first made these for a costume party, and people couldn’t stop laughing at how they looked—and licking their fingers after devouring them. The secret? A deeply umami glaze made from balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and molasses or honey for that eerie shine and incredible flavor.

They roast beautifully in the oven until golden-black and slightly crispy. For extra drama, you can finish them under the broiler for caramelization. Serve them with a creamy dip or next to “bloody” ketchup for that Halloween vibe.

These bat wings aren’t just a novelty—they’re a seriously tasty appetizer your guests will devour. Whether you’re hosting a haunted house party or just want to spook up your dinner table, they’re the perfect combination of creepy and craveable.
